Abstract Submission Guidelines GEMCON’ 25

Guidelines for Authors

For Free Papers please be mindful of the conference theme and ensure you give consideration explaining the relevance of your research to the conference Theme: “Future Healthcare Through: Research, Artificial Intelligence, Sustainability & Education! Please carefully review the”.

Authors who submit abstract should confirm that

    • Preferably It has not been previously published/presented anywhere else.
    • If not Published then do not plan to present/publish it prior to the dates of this event.
    • Whether they want to submit their abstract for oral presentation or poster presentation OR BOTH.
    • Reviews, pilot studies, case-studies, protocols will only be considered for poster presentations.
  • The conference scientific committee will evaluate the scientific quality of the submitted abstracts based on the following criteria:
    • Relevancy to conference themes
    • Novelty & originality of the research
    • Significance & importance of the findings/results
    • Comments from national and international reviewers
  • Abstracts must describe in a succinct manner the purpose and results of the research so that the quality, originality and comprehensiveness of the work can be evaluated by the conference scientific committee.
  • The abstract with minimal and substandard information will be rejected.
  • The length of the abstract excluding title and scientific matter should not exceed more than 300 words.
  • Abstract title should be in capital letters, bold, centrally aligned, & indicative of the content of the abstract. Avoid nonstandard abbreviations in abstract titles.
  • Author information should include
    • First name, Middle name & Sir name
    • Affiliation (Institute/Company name, city and country name)
    • Email and telephone of corresponding author only
  • Abstract must include the following:
    • Title should not contain more than 14 words
    • Background
    • Objectives of the study
    • Methodology/ Study Design such as Mention study design, duration of study with dates and venue
    • Results and Findings
    • Conclusions
    • Key words

1.Formatting:

– Abstracts must be written in English.
– Use clear and concise language.
– The abstract should not exceed 250-300 words.
– Use Times New Roman or Arial font, size 12.
– Do not include tables, figures, or references in the abstract.’

2. Structure:

– Title: Clearly indicate the title of the abstract.
– Authors: List all contributing authors with their full names and affiliations. Use superscript numbers to denote affiliations.
– Introduction: Briefly introduce the background and significance of the research.
– Methods: Describe the study design, methodology, and any statistical analyses used.
– Results: Present the key findings of the study. Include relevant data and outcomes.
– Conclusion: Summarize the main conclusions and implications of the research.

3.Keywords:

– Include 3-5 keywords that accurately represent the content of the abstract.

4.Originality:

– Abstracts must present original research findings or innovative perspectives.
– Previously published work or work presented at other conferences will not be accepted.

5.Categories:

– Select the appropriate category or topic area for your abstract (e.g., Clinical Research, Basic Science, Public Health, Case Reports).

6.Authorship:

– The submitting author should ensure that all co-authors have agreed to the submission and are aware of its content.

7.Review Process:

– All abstracts will undergo a blind peer-review process by a panel of experts.
– Abstracts will be evaluated based on scientific merit, clarity, and relevance to the conference theme.

8. Submission Deadline:

– The deadline for abstract submission is 15 April, 2024
– Late submissions will not be considered.

9. Notification:

– Authors will be notified of acceptance or rejection.
– Accepted abstracts will be scheduled for presentation at the conference.

10.Submission Instructions:

– Abstracts must be submitted online through the conference website.
– Follow the instructions provided on the submission portal.
– Ensure all required fields are completed accurately.

  • The manuscript font should be “Times New Roman” with single spacing and font size 12.
  • Abstracts must use appropriate grammar and punctuations. Proofread carefully before submission
  • Do not include any citation or reference in the abstract
  • Tables and illustration should not be included in abstract
  • Incomplete submissions will not be entertained
  • Abstract withdrawal request will not be entertained after 12 May, 2025.
  • Presentation time is 7 minutes followed by 3 minutes of question-answer session

Note: Authors will not be permitted to edit his/her abstract after submission. Reviewers will consider the following when evaluating abstracts: Relevance to conference themes, originality of the research, appropriate research methodology for answering the research question and importance of the research findings.

  • Oral presentations will be allotted 10 minutes (7 minutes for presentation + 3 minutes for discussion)
  • Oral presentations slides must be in MS PowerPoint

Poster Competition Guidelines GEMCON-2025

INSTRUCTIONS FOR POSTER PRESENTATION

Poster presentation is considered to be an integral part of a conference and we would like to avail this opportunity to interact with peers. Interested poster presenters will also be provided the opportunity to share their research/findings with scientific community at conference in a special Poster Talk session. In Poster Talk session each participant will have 5 minutes to share their poster content. Carefully read the following instructions regarding poster session, set up, presentation and removal.

Poster Size

       Maximum dimensions: 36 inches x 48 inches (portrait orientation)

Content

  1. Title: Clear and concise, centered at the
  2. Author(s): Name(s) of the participant(s) and their affiliation(s).
  3. Abstract: A summary (max 250 words).
  4. Sections:
    • Title
    • Problem
    • Gap in the Literature
    • Hook
    • Research Question
    • Methodology
    • Method: Explain the tool to collect data, sampling, data analysis
    • Result: Explain to expected outcomes and what do you think your study will add will to the literature. How would it benefit the practice of medical education?  
    • References 

        5. Visuals: Use graphs, charts, tables, or images to support your Ensure high resolution.

Important Notes

  1. Each participant/team will have 5-7 minutes to present their poster, followed by a 3-minute Q&A session.
  2. Posters must adhere to ethical guidelines (e.g., proper citations, no plagiarism).
  3. Late submissions will not be accepted.
