Aspiring to care for population of 5 million our highly esteemed and devoted faculty, consultants ,trainees and paramedics in the department of anaesthesiology at Gujranwala medical college continue to play their part in providing the services regarding their specialized area of study. Postgraduate training programmes for FCPS, MCPS, MS and DA all are present in our institute.Currently in possession of 18 operating tables , as well as well as a fully -functioning ICU of 6 beds we are attempting to further broaden the technological scope of our infrastructure and clinical care . We also aim to further improve upon our educational and training programs in addition to contributing to any study relevant to anaesthesia as our foremost priority is to provide the best conceivable method of training to our future anesthesiologist's, so that they further expand upon the degrees of medical qualification which we always strive to achieve .1n shaallah ,we will achieve all that we have set out to do under the supervision of principal Prof. Dr. Muhammad Haroon Hamid and will continue to maintain the distinct position of excellency which we have achieved at this institution.
